What a bargain and what a course. i have lived here for 2 years and have not played this course until today. I understand they have moved and modified a few holes and you can tell which are the new ones but the greens are awesome.in the summer the "twilight" starts at 14.00...and only 18 pounds...absolute bargain. Pity the golf wasn't up to it but we had never played the course before so tempting to hit shots you may usually wouldn't do. I and my colleagues will be back sooner than we think i suspect.

Great course with some of the best greens around that has been extended recently. Narrow fairways provide a challenge!

Well maintained and challenging course
Working away for a few weeks, and to my excitement looking at the location of the Premier inn to which I'm staying to discover chippenham golf course situated behind the hotel. So of course had to get booked in for a few evening rounds. Fast greens, challenging to read but enjoyed testing my abilities. Only thing to disappoint my experience was that I was playing on my own which allowed me to catch groups, to a member infront saying to me "I would let you pass but its busy". The next group was over a hole ahead of them. They let me pass on the 16th :/.Reviewer Rating

Very enjoyable
Despite very heavy rain over the last 2 weeks, the course was in good condition. No complaints about the greens - very fair and true. Nice course! Thank you.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 15.9)

Worth Playing
Good course, interesting holes, enjoyed my round and I would play again. Strange that on many holes the red tees are behind the yellow but that is compensdated by the relevant SSS.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 18.8)

Chippenham

Lovely place great facilities bit soggy in places but it was December scored 91 (17.5 hc) in the whole we both enjoyed the varied course we will return in the spring and summer reasonable price green fees as well also county cards we got on for £17
