The course is not overlong but it offers a very fair test of ones golf. Some holes present particularly difficult challenges for the higher handicap player but accuracy off the tee will be rewarded. The club house and facilities are among the best I have seen locally, all being newly built. There are buggies for hire and a well stocked pro shop with a pro team who are friendly and helpful.

1st visit and liked the course more than the more coveted neighbour, Bowood. There is a distinct change from the old and new holes but nevertheless, its a challenging course with some memorable holes. Brand new clubhouse is also impressive as are the practice facilities.

Course was playing short ground v hard inn place same for tee boxes and green, course could with more watering I think.

Course was in stunning condition when played on a hot summers evening, greens were slick and very true, the perfect combination. There are some risk and reward holes that make the course 'dazzle', especially the 14th, a long par 5 where you can either drive over the water and have an iron in or play the safe way around the edge. Course management is needed round this course, but i would personally say that this is the key factor to making a golf course fun and interesting.

What a bargain and what a course. i have lived here for 2 years and have not played this course until today. I understand they have moved and modified a few holes and you can tell which are the new ones but the greens are awesome.in the summer the "twilight" starts at 14.00...and only 18 pounds...absolute bargain. Pity the golf wasn't up to it but we had never played the course before so tempting to hit shots you may usually wouldn't do. I and my colleagues will be back sooner than we think i suspect.
