An interesting course in Epping Forest. Some long holes and the greens were in good condition. Fairways a bit mossy but it is a forest course. The cafe is great.

A friendly club with a caf? that serves great cakes.
I haven't play Chingford for over thirty years. In those days you had to wear something red. The course is a good test of golf with some tricky dog legs. The Par 3s are no pushover. I will definitely play there again.Reviewer Rating

Only paid ?10 for the round, considering how much rain there had been overnight the course was quite good condition, look forward to playing again when it's drier.Reviewer Rating

Good course, value for money. Doesn't have markers on the fairways so judging your distance is a bit tricky. Greens are in good condition and the course is well designed.

played today was in reasonable nick for time of year but the only negative was the cafe being shut and wont be open till march 2017

Quite a challenging course with some very good holes. Comedy (sloping) green on 3rd. Green quality can be variable depending on recent weather. No facilities since the on-site cafe closed last year. Members club will let you buy a drink if you ask. Good value (?10) for over-60s after 11 am.

This course is good for a relatively cheap pay and play. Very interesting to realise there isn't a bunker on the course to keep down maintenance costs. The greens are actually very tough to putt on due to the steep slopes, so expect a higher score than usual.
