Great value for money

Tranquil course surrounded by Epping Forest
Chingford Golf Course on the borders between East London and Essex offers straight forward no frills golf. It's holes are varied often rising and falling on undulating fairways. Not many bunkers and greens can be a bit patchy but overall greens are well maintained. If you can't hit straight or shape shots round the dog legs you will lose plenty of balls but it is well worth the visit for the peace and quiet and forest wildlife that abounds.Reviewer Rating

Decent public pay and play course. As of April 21 2018, in really good shape, has a few elevation changes, wind often plays a part, I find it really challenging to get the ball round, playing to my current handicap. Thought I had a chance at the weekend, getting back to 1 over after 17..........So the 7 I took at the last was a treat, I look forward to trying again. Luke, in the pro shop is a very decent guy, and has been very helpful to our groups whenever we play here.

Excellent course, in the forest, interesting layoutGreat greens and fairways.
Dry due to the efforts of the ground staff.
Superb little cafe.
I love this course and I live in Leigh on Sea!
