How you justify 30 pound green fee for 15 holes, no clubhouse or bar is beyond me. Course not looked after and a really poor turn out all round. Shame as it could be really good if they cared about the course and their customers. Avoid

Great course
With the First 9 holes offering some wide and long fairways with some holes that have you thinking, then the back nine being slightly narrower and trickier but holes that will bite if you don't respect them. Loved it, with friendly welcoming staff.Reviewer Rating

Really wet course and quite muddy in places. Greens in really bad condition, really bouncy.

fairways bone dry ,greens not good will play again after 2 weeks maybe some rain might help the course?

A fair course, having played recently was very disappointed with the greens - too fluffy and when playing early morning holds the dew and negates any turn you would expect. The 10th hole can barely be called a golf hole more akin to pitch and putt.
Range is good but nowhere to practice putting other than a makeshift ropey green near the first tee.
Overall value for money, but could be much better with a bit more attention (Greens, Tee boxes and bunkers)

lady in the clubhouse was very helpful but was disappointed to pay £20 when the greens were in such poor shape

the green do not hold a ball and the rough needs cutting. its a wide course but if you go left or right - good bye ball

Provides an enjoyable game of golf for mid to high handicappers.
Usually in good condition, however, some areas can be a bit soft underfoot.
Small clubhouse includes an excellent Chinese restaurant.

this course is good for the beginner IMHO. the course is of 2 different 9's as the front 9 are much longer than the back 9.
just watch out for the rough as it is not easy to find any wayward balls

Lovely course but can get very dry in summer and boggy in winter
Day at Chilworth was enjoyable with good pace of play. Greens were being tined so very slow but was warned at reception.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 22.5)
