After a fair bit of rain the course looked more than decent. Played well and the greens were great.

Greens been messsed about with unforgiving near crazy golf at times , club last few years tried to make them better I think there a lottery tee to green course fair on the green good luck if you can hold them on a ice rink need to rewind 2-3 yes ago they were better

Excellent course and facilities. Difficult to believe it's in the heart of Liverpool.
Well established and popular. Tricky course but not too difficult for decent players.

childwall was a very good course fairways were kept in great condition and greens also were very difficult

Childwall is a testing 6470 yard parkland course, demanding accuracy from the tee.
Childwall presents a very tough test of Golf and can match any course in the area. The course is not undulating and is very pleasant to walk. However, some holes do rise and this can affect the run of the ball.
The course design was based on the recommendation of James Braid when the Club moved to its present excellent site at Gateacre in 1938.
Over the years it has undergone some alterations, mainly to increase the length.
In addition to the course the Clubhouse is extremely attractive, serves excellent food and has a friendly, hospitable atmosphere.
Childwall ranks with the very best of courses in this area of very fine Golf Clubs.

You will not be disappointed if you play this course. The greens are fantastic. Such a credit to the greenkeeping staff. Overall the course was in tip top condition
