Lovely course
The course drainage was in full swing but fairways was very muddy and sloppy, I understand with the time of year but having to.pay full price to play off mats and in sloppy muddy conditions is something the course management need to.reconcider.I definitely wont be visiting again this time of year but look forward to having a good in the summer.

Flat parkland with many ditches crossing fairways
Flat parkland course with many (too many) ditches running across fairways. Greens in good condition as were bunkers if only people raked them. Fairways were poor with bare patches and mud even though there had not been much rain. First time played and green to tee was clear if you followed the paths. Last annoying point was the flag colours, they are no indication of where the flag is on the green, reds at the back, etc. Not worth the standard charge.Reviewer Rating

Interesting and enjoyable course
I played at Cheshunt Park in a golf society day in September 2022. I hadn't played there for a few years so I was interested in seeing how it played. It is a picturesque course with plenty of trees which have matured over the past few years. It is also quite a challenging course with some very interesting holes. Because it lies close to the New River, it is, however, susceptible to waterlogging in wet weather and this does make it less attractive and enjoyable at these times. On this occasion, there were no such problems and the course was in very good condition. The greens were in good condition but the same could not be said for the bunkers, which were not maintained to the same standard.
Over the years, the service in the clubhouse has been variable but on this occasion the staff were friendly and efficient. All in all, it was a really good day and I would happily play there again.
