Good Value
A reasonably priced parkland course. Warm, friendly and professional welcome. Some interesting holes.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 103 Handicap: 22.6)

Good Course
Played here August ,19 .I hadn't played here before & reviews were positive plus i got a really cheap round on Golf Now so i thought i'd give it a try & for a municipal was very impressed .
Good layout & the holes are designed very well .The bunkering has been thought about & has been done very well with a few strategic bunkers on the fairways & the bunkering around the greens & the green complexes generally were very impressive .When you stand on the fairway & look down to the green it all looks good .
Favourite holes on the visit were 6 ,8 & 16 , all nice doglegs.
The course was well maintained especially around the greens & the greens had good surfaces & were nice to putt on.
It is a fairly easy walking course & the only slight shortcoming overall is that some people could find it a bit of a long walk round off the back tees .
In certain respects it could be mistaken here for a private club course & is good value for what you get & if i lived nearer to it i could see myself turning up here for a game on a fairly regular basis,.

Very nice course
HiI'm a member at this course and the course has improved in the last 18 months drastically. However the Golfshake app has hole 7 and hole 8 stroke indexes mixed up causing the scoring to be incorrect on the. This means I had to adjust the shots accordingly to give the correct Stamford score correct.

played here a number of times over the years greens looking good today fairways looking better than in the past and like the few changes adn extra pond after 3rd green challenging(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 110 Handicap: 0)

Great Parkland Couse - Beware the rough
For its price, one of the best parkland courses around. Fairways superb and greens in a good condition. Not to their detriment, but the rough is crazy. Slightly off the fairway and you have no shot into the green, which makes this course a straight drivers dream(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 12.3)

part of crown golf
