Visited on a society day. Really enjoyed the interesting course. Friendly clubhouse which integrated with a heath centre.

Very fair test with varied holes
Played in a society at Chartham Park September 2019. 4 ball, handicaps all between 12 and 19. Points range 34 scored by two who had played there before, to 25 for the player who hadn't (me, of course,).Greens slow but excellent ?run?
Very varied layout: some tight, tree-lined, some wide open with bunkers, dog-legs both ways, with and without water, so that I never thought I've already played this hole. No easy par threes. 6200 yards off the yellows.
Room for improvement in signage to the next tee. Heartily recommended.

Well worth a visit
Excellent course - a lot of interesting holes, and a good test of driving. In very good condition, especially the greens.The 'clubhouse' is very nice, but clearly more geared towards the leisure/gym side of things (a very small golf shop, though fairly well-stocked). A seemingly pointless turnstile barrier between reception & the café area, which seems a bit overkill.
Only niggle is the buggies.
Equipped with an absurdly over-zealous GPS system which stalls them if you drive too near a tee/green. In theory a nice idea; in practice, a real pain as they conk out too readily & are a pain to re-start. They also randomly stall at various points around the clubhouse area, leaving you stranded.
You also have to fill out quite tedious forms to hire the buggies on each visit.
A really nice course at a good price. But they need to relax the buggy GPS system a bit, as it's very over-the-top and just adds stress to an already stressful game!
