A thoroughly joyless experience from the moment we arrived. They have a militant attitude to buggies that prevents players from driving them to their cars, or to the driving range. If you do bother with the driving range, don't forget the 5 pound hiring fee for the basket to hold the balls as you carry them, and your clubs obviously, back to the end of the range, at the far end of the car park. Also if you book online, and one of your group can't make it for whatever reason, they will tell you it is impossible to get a refund for that player. Course has a few decent holes, but a few too many bland holes to be very good.

Enjoyable round played in glorious sunshine. Bit hillier than imagined particularly the front nine, also a lot more water than expected, although most of it shouldn't come into play. Some lovely holes, particularly the Par 4 16th, dogleg left than second over water, nice closing par 5 too. Decent terrace to sit out and enjoy a drink in the remaining evening sunshine, although first thought when entering building was like going to your local swimming pool.
