Parkland Paradise

This is the home of affordable golf they say.
Definitely worth the green fee's. 2corses, The 18 hole sue Wilson is a par 3 but is a very beautiful round. Holes are bordered with trees, very simple to follow the coarse. Even though its a 55par for the 18 holes it not without some good challenges.

For the more serious golfer the 9 Hole coarse is mainly a par 4. Great long holes for driving. The greens on the 9 are exceptional. Even a small lake water hazard. Currently undergoing some work on the tees on this coarse being end of 2018 there looking to be some great improvements for 2019season.

Also has driving range, club house with bar and sports tv, a café, and a small golf shop. And even a big simulator in the club house for rainy days.

It offers the chance for everyone to play golf with no dress code which to be honest is not ma
Problem staff in clubhouse are always happy to chat food is excellent and beer is much cheaper and kept better than pubs in the area
It has driving range and at ?2.50 for 50 balls a lot cheaper than the other one close by
A par3 and 1 par 4
So you cannot expect to smash the life out of your ball
Out of it but there are some tricky holes that can ruin your card I play it a lot greens well looked after fairways are kept nice too so in short if you have never played and don't want to buy everything just to try and play golf go there and after you do you will come back

Castle Hawk Golf Club, this is a fantastic course, especially for a novice bit also for well seasoned golfers. I love the atmosphere, friendly staff and the fact that most players are there to just have fun. I have been a member of another club and found it to be complete opposite to what Castle Hawk offers. Fun, no pressure, no staff on power trips and no whinging members. Member competitions on back 9 hole course on Saturday only, leaving the par 3 course open for play. This club has got absolutely the right idea of how a golf club should be run. Thank you Castle Hawk.

This course is now in fantastic condition. The new owners are really putting lots of effort to make it into a good course. Played a few times in the past but have now joined because of the better standard. The new pro offers lots of good advice and is more than willing to help with all levels.

Best value for money golf course in the aera, played both courses that are now in good nick. If you can play the 18 hole course near to your handicap, you are a bandit! Very friendly and helpful staff, got a spare afternoon give it a go, you will enjoy the very different challenges of both courses.

Enjoy

Friendly well located course

An interesting 9 hole course set out to provide some birdie opportunities for good course management or for big hitting risk takers especially on the 4th par 5 and 13th par 4 and the 9th,16th,and 18th,.Like all courses if you can keep it on the middle of the fairway life is so much easier.

Played a couple of weeks ago on Saturday, so 18 hole course played on. First time had been, course varied enough and a decent challenge. Odd green could have been better. Planning to go again.
