Course in great condition as you'd expect at this time of year, some testing holes especially if the wind is blowing, even a slight breeze could course problems.

Lovely setting at the bottom of Portsmouth Harbour and on the edge of Fareham Creek, the fairways are very dry at the moment and the ball can bounce off in any direction if you're not lucky. The greens were ok but the bunkers were full of stones. The bar area is starting to look a bit old and worn but is ok. The staff were nice friendly, so apart from me hitting loads of sand it was a very nice day of golf.

Fairways and tee off areas in good condition considering the rain. All par 3's off matts but everything else of grass. Greens in a very poor condition really pitted with what can only have been people not repairing pitch marks, which is shocking really making them bobbly and also very slow. Enjoyed my round 8 over after 16, shocking 17 and 18 leaving me 14 over off a handicap of 15. Overall good enjoyment and only £20, although wouldn't rush back.

With the rough being very long keeping the ball on fairway is a must. I would keep the driver in the bag for some holes as they are not very long. course management is the key to a good round here as the course is not tough.

Play a couple of times per year with a member.
Course in pretty good nick, but rather windy which makes Cams a lot harder!
Since my friend was treating me - value for money will have to be excellent!
