Goat track

Just awful condition, over priced, rude staff, the greens are like a roller coaster, waste of money and crazy it’s allowed.

Very disappointed. Booked a 11am tee off only to get their and for them To tell me the time had change to 11:40. Thought j would hit some balls on the range but their was no range balls left. Quality of range and chipping area exceptionally poor, was just a field! Course was in ok condition but bunkers were very poor. One bunker on back 9 was completely empty not even a grain of sand. Can't believe I payed £40 for a round of golf here. Very disappointed and won't be returning to play here again. Don't like to write a bad review but wouldn't want anyone to not get value for money or facility's and feel this lets us down on both fronts

Ripoff

Played 18 hole’s course in fair condition, except fairways bit rough. Greens very slow but some nice holes. And overall not too bad track., bought new glove from pro shop it split during round wouldn’t replace it, and pro quite rude, not happy ordered sandwich to take on course as we were running late, charged £7 for a very pathetic cheese sandwich. Need to up their game not going back

Chose to return to Cams Hall having played there a few years ago and thought highly of it. Had to play the Park course as our front 9. It felt very much like a municipal course - shredded tees, patchy greens.
Slightly insulting that we still had to pay ?40 for the round. Should have been charged way less for having to play the Park.
The Creek course is nice but the Park was extremely disappointing.

Lovely course, but they do love to keep the creek course for the members which is at odds with what tee off times was showing on the website. That aside corse was drier than. Thought it would be and the Park course greens were ok, creek greens were toned and heavily sanded but that's should ensure the greens will be in good nick for summer

Charity day venue for the 5th Septemebr 2014. Course not in good condition - fairways needed watering - greens ok, bunkers -to many stones.
evening function went very well and the staff who looked after us need prasing as they worked very hard. Food was very good.

Firstly, the good points.
The course itself is in good condition and they seem to take care of it
The greens are lovely even in the winter.
The bad points.
Although its a good course, Meon Valley is better and more challenging.
The staff are TERRIBLE and DO NOT help you in anyway.
Most of the personnel there (Staff and Members) look down on you if you do not own a 13 plate Mercedes.
The course (although in nice condition) is BORING, FLAT AND NOT THAT CHALLENGING.
It just seems like a club to go to just to say you go there or are a member.
I cannot stress it enough on how s**t the staff are.

With me saying that, the 9 hole course (although fairly expensive), is nice and is good in the watery winter.

So, in conclusion, Pay online so u dont have to talk to the staff (although they might try and charge you twice like they do for me most of the time), Do the 9 hole with your headphones in, DO NOT GO TO THE BAR, and go home.

I might be a little harsh here due to the poor weather conditions prior to playing. The greens were appalling, to put 3 feet I nearly needed a fully swing as the greens were really soft & the grass was long too. Saying that this is one of the better Crown Golf courses that I have played. I never used the bar as I was in a rush to avoid most of the evening traffic home. The pro shop is well stocked & was very helpful about my booking. I will be looking forward to a future game here as it is the best local Crown course to me

The course is undergoing final redevelopment (finishes in May) so still not quite right , loads of rain the previous week greens held up well but two or three of the holes were very wet/waterlogged.
