Excellent, unique

Built around a number of old shale quarries, Dodhead offers a real challenge to golfers of all abilities. A range of length on the par 3s and 4s adds interest, as do the sloping greens. Above all, the views are simply spectacular: Edinburgh, the 3 bridges over the River Forth and a backdrop of 'The Binn', a volcanic plug to the north of the town, are all superb.
Course is very well presented and maintained. Staff in the very well stocked Pro shop very helpful, food and drink excellent. A great day out.

A great day

We arrived early and had some breakfast rolls (sausage, egg, bacon) which were just what we needed to start the day. All fairly priced. One of my friend's had his putter re-gripped in the pro-shop whilst we had our breakfast. Great job.
We played as a 4 ball and got held up a few times by a couple of 2 balls in front, but it didn't bother us.
First time playing Burntisland and I played it to my handicap (22), could have been much lower if not for some typical 8's on my card.
A great day, sun was shining wind was gusty, the course played great. Nice greens.

I look forward to coming back to Burntisland in the future, loved it.

What a great course very pictures in fantastic condition with amazing views over the fourth estuary.
Club house was also very good with an excellent menu and the staff. Could not have been more welcoming. Traveled through from Glasgow and am planning to revisit later in the year. A must play if you are looking for a days golf or a outing with friends.

What a great course. We got it on a Tuesday morning, beautiful no wind at all. A real unique course with some very unusual greens but challenging and loads of fun. Greens were immaculate, ran fast like links.

Not the longest course but pays to be straight off the tee

The views are amazing over the forth to Edinburgh.

Really enjoyed the course and will defiantly be back

The course is in excellent condition thanks to all the hard work put in by the green staff over the winter.
I would recomend the course to anyone looking for a challenge.
