What the club says: The golf course at Aberdour is the unusual combination of a parkland course set close by the sea. It is a wonderful course that lengthens out allowing some room for a slice but with reward to those straight and long. A number of holes run along the shore of the River Forth with views across the Forth to Edinburgh and beyond. From every point on the course the golfer can never fail to be inspired by the nearby picturesque Inchcolm Island and its historic Priory; the panoramic view across the Forth to Edinburgh and the River Forth itself as it stretches out into the North Sea.

Lovely course in a tight setting
A short but very challenging course in a tight setting, some holes are very close together with cross over tees and greens, but still a lovely test to play. Very clever and picturesque par 3's along with some up and down holes make this not as easy as you would think from a short course. Nice shop, lovely clubhouse, excellent food and very friendly staff. A nice dry day for a change made a lovely visit and one I could return to. Greens had just been spiked and sanded so didn't get to see the best of but still enjoyable.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 96 Handicap: 16.7)

Hidden gem in amongst the many in Fife
Nice course, very pretty setting around the Firth of Forth, with the early holes running alongside and across it... good test of golf although only par 67, with the stroke index 1, par 4, 8th being a tester for anyone.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 87 Handicap: 21.2)

Great course to play
Aberdour is a little gem of a course. The welcome is very friendly, great clubhouse, amazing views, good food and service. Course is always well presented. Get down there and enjoy a good day out.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 75 Handicap: )

Starts well then fades
Picturesque and interesting start but course deteriorates through the gap to the 'new holes'. Back 9 a bit bland. Greens inconsistent.

Great course, friendly welcome
Not long, but challenging. Slightly intimidating start with the first two holes. Thereafter, every hole is different, some forgiving, some not. With views across the river Forth giving a superb backdrop. The green staff have provided a course in very good condition

Great little course
Great little Course in Fife. Two par 3s to start, but not easy. Lots of tricky holes, brilliant to play, par 67.Great food in clubhouse as well.

Great scenic golf course
Great little golf course, fair but challenging. Some new bunkers added to 13th and 14th hole add to the enjoyment and playability of this little gem.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 77 Handicap: )
