Played on a friday afternoon, great weather and course in good condition. not too busy which was nice. have played before so layout was familiar, but if you haven't played here before there's plenty of blind shots, so be careful. Also, there's a number of crossovers where you need to walk in front of tees and greens. I always seem to play well at brookdale, maybe it's the lovely scenery which inspires! (Round played 11 July 2014, score 74 hcp 5.5)

My first time on this course, what a lovely day out we had on a lovely course. The scenery was fantastic, the course was in brilliant condition, Top marks to the ground staff, the club professional very nice to speak to and very accommodating, can't wait to play it again soon.

Very enjoyable the second time around. This course is very well designed but full of blind tee shots.

Was offered a free round by the pro shop as I was looking to join a local club and had a great day. Not overly long but some challenging holes where local knowledge would come in handy although greenkeeper and members were very friendly and offered advice when they were around. Course in good condition considering recent weather although greens a little slow which meant you could attack the greens with short irons. Didnt need my driver which was good as I hit a 3W more consistently and placement of the tee sets up good scoing opportunities. The steep walk up 18 is a tough end but thats just me being out of shape 
Overall thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely return. Shot 84 (+16) when im usually low 90s for a 72 course since starting to play again after 10 year hiatus.

Played this course early March, some winter greens in play due to recent wet weather. Course in reasonable condition, greens in good nick, some good holes. Worth a visit for the price.

First visit this year - course in good condition apart from scatterings of twigs from trees on some holes. Fairways fine and reens in good condition. Late game so clubhouse not visited. Apparently the Pro has left the club and a couple of greenkeepers have gone - ? the future condition?

Excellent course with some fantastic holes. Every hole different, greens were a little slow because of the recent rain but still one of the best courses we've played. Needs a good pro shop.

STUNNING........
Played here on the weekend im an 18 capper ..i truly enjoyed the test and also the peaceful beautiful scenery .... ive tried a lot of courses in manchester this to me tops them all

Very nice club all round one of the best in manchester.The course offers any golfer of any handicap a good and testing round of golf. Nice club house and staff to.A must try for any one.

What a loverly course tucked away in a huge woodland area almost within driving range of the city center(for the beg hitters.) The course is very well looked after and the greens are as fast and as true as I have played anywhere.
The staff and especially the pro are very helpfull and the club house staff make you feel like you have been a member for years.
I cant wait for my next visit.
