What The Club Says
The scenery is stunning with breathtaking views, especially from the 12th tee, where the whole of the course can be seen. The River Medlock is featured on six of the holes as it meanders through the course.

The pro-shop was very limited on stock, but i later found out, the club have just hired a new professional and he is in the process of filling the shop, so that explains the lack of products.
Quite a tight course with plenty of internal OOB, so you have to accurate off the tee
The practice green just before the first tee isn't the best, built on a slope so every putt seems to go in the same direction.
I am not sure how many greens staff they have at the club, but i didn't see any on the course during my visit and they are desperately needed as the course was in very poor condition
The 1st, 8th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 16th & 18th greens were all really poor, and you are virtually putting through mud patches as there is hardly any grass on the green, despite there being no rain / bad weather for the last 10 days which was disappointing
The only shining light, was the young girl behind the bar (Cheryl), who was really friendly and took time to engage in conversation with me, very pleasant
Much better courses in the area and for £30, is doesn't give good value for money...I'd probably give it a swerve if you were thinking of playing it and try Denton or North Manchester which are close by and much better

Varied Challenge
Brookdale Golf Course offers a quirky and enjoyable layout that keeps you thinking from the first tee to the last green. With its undulating terrain and exposed areas, it even plays like a links course in places, adding a unique twist to your round. There's a great mix of holes, from short, tricky par threes to longer, more demanding par fours, ensuring a varied challenge. It’s definitely a course where you need to plot your way around rather than just grip it and rip it. The friendly staff add to the welcoming atmosphere, making it a course worth visiting again.Reviewer Rating

Great course
