Winter tees in operation today; every golfer's pet hate. Having said that, fairways and greens in decent enough condition for the time of year, if you discount the gouges in the greens no doubt created by some petulant youth. Not worth the full ticket price, but if you only have time for 9, booking through "Teeofftimes.co.uk" makes it viable.

What has happened here?!? Last time I played was April 2013. Where has the motivation gone and the friendly staff? I met who is apparently the GM (photo on the wall matched) and what an awful person. No idea on what golfers want

I have played here a few times and over the last 6 weeks I can say it's gone down hill!! The staff don't seem to care anymore. The last time I visited they all seemed quite upbeat but now it's poor. Course is ok, food is terrible but it's local.

Open fairways, some trees, greens fair. Was very wet underfoot when I played lengthening the course.

I play this course quite regularly as I am a relative beginner, it's ideal for players of that standard with good facilities in terms of driving range with auto tees. Some of these reviews are quite harsh, if you come to a 9 hole public course, what do you expect? Not gonna be Augusta National!! The holes are a mix, easy 300 yard par 4 to start but the got some tricky holes later on that require good long tee shots with little margin for error. Also one plus side is, if you look hard enough you can find plenty of balls. Greens are in good nick and the fairways are fine in my opinion. Perfect course for a couple of hours practice on the weekend.
