Played the Melbourne recently as a members guest on a very hot day. Very impressed with the quality of greens and facilities. Everything was top notch. Greens true and fairly quick. Plenty of water hazards. The 18th is great par 5 'risk & reward' hole, downhill then over a large lake to the green. I managed it with a long drive and a 5 iron which completed a great day of golf. I'm sure you'll enjoy this place.

The course and facilities are absolutely superb. One of the nicest we have played on. Great value on a twilight deal.

The Palmerston course really is stunning as is the whole set up at Brocket Hall.
Quite a hilly undulating course with lots of trees and bunkers,no water though.
Huge greens.
very pretty scenic course which tests your ability to keep the ball in play and get it into the right position for your next shot.

An absolute gem of a course..for me the best course I've played for the money. £120 for 2 rounds on both courses, overnight stay with excellent room facilities. Excellent pro shop, excellent driving range, putting green with on hand PGA instructor if needed...even the range balls are Titleist which you don't pay for...lsuperb picturesque course with the 18th you requiring a ferry to get to he island green...absolutely loved it

Amazing course! Must be played. The surroundings are superb and water comes into play on 5 holes which is more interesting when playing off whites

Very mature and tight course with some fantastic views. Pkenty of sand but not very much water to worry about.

very hot day...amazing course.two for one voucher..think they set the pins for the cheapskates.lol ..greens felt like mixture of st andrews and augusta.but really is most beautiful course ive every played. very nice staff and marshall was excellent and very helpful as he knew we were first timers .. would love to play there again one day

We played using a special discount voucher, otherwise it would seem rather expensive. Excellent course design and challenge, especially having to hit the ball across the river on 4 holes when we lost 5 balls between the 3 of us. However, some holes were not well sign posted with many greens roped off. This did mean that we were a bit slow as it was also our first visit and we were asked to hurry up! Being advised that the ferry was not working, we walked round to the 18th, thereby taking a bit longer, as a result. But will only return if another discount voucher comes our way.

Palmerston. Fantastic course. Tree lined fairways, quick & true greens all in good condition. Off the Whites you have some tight drives. Course knowledge is worth a lot & this was my first round. Will do better next time!!
