Pleasant surprise
First round here with my brothers and thoroughly enjoyable. The course is enough of a challenge and was in very good condition following a few days of rain. Friendly players and staff, with good etiquette shown by others on course. A steady three and one half hours for a threeball on an unfamiliar course. Will definitely play here again. The adjacent pub is very well stocked and serves decent food. They even let golfers park at the top of the car park which is very much appreciated. If you have not played here, give it a go - you may be pleasantly surprised.Reviewer Rating

Winter Beauty and Relatively Easy
This is a course which is very popular in winter as it drains so well. Some straight forward holes and a couple of challengers in 10 and a couple more on the back nine. Is busy at weekends and during peak times, but worth a visit. They don't do food but there is a very good pub right next door which does great food options. Plus although its in Sheffield its easy enough to get to in rush hour being not far off the M1.Reviewer Rating

Great course - rough was a little unkempt but shop pro had explained there was an issue due to machinery break down. Nice to play.

the biggest problem on this course are the man made drainage ditches 3 of them they nee to have pies inserted into them and filled in natural hazard are ok but these are ridiculous

Nice reliable course
Nice course although needs to sort something out about a bar because the pub at the side is the only place to get a drink & some food afterwards but the landlord does not deserve the custom as won't allow parking!! would be empty all week if not for golfers..(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: 26.1)
