A tricky course which is very well maintained. Good value but would advise booking a tee time. only negative is that some holes very close together and could be tricky at busy times.

A small course but quite well maintained when played. Fairways ran true but greens were being spread with fertilizer - the green staff continued to stay in front of the group instead of doing greens when we had played through. An average day out

This was my third visit to Bellingham but the first time on a really sunny day, which made the views from the course over the village and surrounding hills absolutely stunning. I have also never played golf on a course so quiet - we saw about 8 other golfers on the course all day, and we played 36 holes!
The course has a mixture of picturesque and fairly bland holes but it was in good condition, although we were not forewarned about the temporary green on the 4th. The rough was fairly clingy which meant we were looking for balls in the first cut in the morning when the sun was low and relecting off the wet dew, but this problem wasn't as bad in the afternoon. All of our party feel this course is let down by the last hole, which is a dogleg par 4 where the drive is forced away from the hole towards the rough and the second shot involves a forced carry over a double ravine to a green perched above the fairway. Maybe it it just us but the hole seems a little unfair to handicap golfers and can leave a nasty taste in the mouth after a good round. Maybe that is just sour grapes from me after I took an 8 there in the afternoon after a decent first 17 holes!
The clubhouse is pleasant and has a new verandah area which we took advantage of in the nice weather. I have played a number of courses since our last visit here and there are better courses around, but for £25 all day, and only £12.50 using 2 fore 1 vouchers, Bellingham offers a pleasant and peaceful golfing experience in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside.

Club Championship
Enjoyable day had a golf club, very interesting course setup. Would highly recommend playing if you get the chance(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 18.2)

Northumberland Gem
This course is full of natural hazards.lt is located in a beautiful peaceful part of Northumberland.It has some great par threes,get these right or you will end up with cricket score! Fantastic place to play.Reviewer Rating

Timed it wrong and played a week after the greens had been hollow tined/ verti-drained so the greens were bobbly and holey. The tee boxes could have done with a cut but the fairways were well kept. Some stunning views and on the right day this is a good course.

Lovely course
A lovely course I good condition. Fantastic views from various points on the course and some challenging holes to go with it. Can be physically demanding with lots of hills and slopes, would most likely get a buggy next time on a hot day! Will probably go a little earlier as well next time to hit 20 balls on the range for cheap before the round!Reviewer Rating

Great Hillside Course
Really enjoyable course well kept and very playable despite the weather.Nice and down to earth, there should be more Bellinghams around especially down south !!

Course on very good condition for the time of year, warm welcome and accommodating as ever. Tee time slot meant we got round with no one in front or behind which resulted in a very enjoyable round of golf.

Great course played in tough weather conditions. Very hilly course which makes it spectacular scenery and very challenging to play. Great fun!

Isolated but such a fun course. Stay away from the trees, not difficult shots but the flies love a golfer. Book online for a good discount.
