Excellent fairways with some tricky situations. Greens improving but still need some attention.

teed off at 7.15am on a glorious spring morning at one of my favourite courses. a fair but of work has been done since I was last here as several of the tee boxes have been re-turfed and the greens were in decent shape. the only downside are the bunkers as there are no rakes so you are often playing out of footprints!!!
I cannot believe that the council are looking to close this course after saying that on average 40 players pass through here a day. by the time we finished there was a queue of about 15 people waiting to tee off and the course was packed with 4 balls!

A pay and play course that has some delightful holes. Some holes are very easy and some quite difficult. Overall the course is less testing than most but still requires accuracy for you to score well. The condition could be better but it is still quite playable and value for money. The greens play slow and suffer from damage but again they are playable. The club house could be so much better, spectacular even with huge investment. The setting of the course is a very pleasing parkland in the middle of south east London. A bug bear for me is the absence of any yardage marker posts. The staff at the course are super friendly and overall this course represents good value for money.

Breakfast was over priced majorly for what was served. Pro Shop staff very helpful and friendly. Course was brilliant!!! Hilly but great fun!!

Better than expected after reading mixed reviews.The course is in good shape (June 2013), has some challenging holes and is not expensive. I would compare it to Trent Park in north London.

Value for money wise, you can't knock this course. It's a shame they couldn't squeeze another par 5 or two into the layout but all in all, this is a fun course to play which rewards a consitent round. A great course for regular practise and mostly good condition, considering it is a public park in South London....

the greens were very poor condition ,never known this before for this course ,cuold be due to new owners dont know but one green had daiseys growig on it .this could be one of the great golf courses going for london

Course in great condition, a bit dodgy of temporary tees, not easy to get a tee to stand up !
