Great municipal course
The course is coming back up to its peak once again after a couple of years of not being cared for. Green keepers are amazing and greens and fairways being upgraded. The course drains well and only a couple of places of standing water sometimes.Reviewer Rating

Best Public Course in the area.
Panshanger is by far the best Public Golf course in the surrounding area. The holes are varied and very challenging especially for any right handed playerswith a slight slice or fade. Situated in the Mimram Valley means taht there are lots of sloping fairways that make it difficult to stay on the fairway. At the moment the course is in a good condition most greens are very good but rough/semi rough slightly longer than I would like so leading to lost balls a lot of the time.Reviewer Rating

Have a bash at Batchwood, you won't be disappointed
Batchwood is a challenging course with a good variety of holes. The course is always in good condition. If you don't make a birdie, you can at least look up and see beautiful birds of prey soaring above you. On the outskirts of St. Albans and with the Cathedral sitting proudly on a mount in the distance, Batchwood is great value for money.Reviewer Rating
