What a great course and a good test of golf. Greens were excellent and the course in great condition. Off the course the food was good and the overall experience was brilliant. Would recommend you play this course.

Course in great condition throughout and members, staff inside and out on the course, were very friendly and welcoming. Will definately come back and even the thunder and lightning couldn't ruin a very enjoyable day. Greens were fast and true and fairways, rough all very well maintained.

Great golf course and well presented. Played with a society we were well looked after and made to feel welcome.

We played the 2003 captains day the course and the clubhouse is very good, the staff all very friendly I play at Ashton a fwe times through the year

Course in Good condition well kept greens and well defined fairways...up turned plates for greens that make your second shots interesting. ..you have to play run up shots to hold the greens. ..

A great course for golfers of all abilities,
shape to your ball flight is a massive advantage, a thinkers course you have to put your ball in the right place on the short grass to score well here!!
playable all year round this year is the first time in ten years that the course as ever benn closed,but this closure was to protect a good course UNDERSTANDABLE.
WILL DEFINITELY BE ON HERE AGAIN SOON.

It can be expensive here but the course was in pretty good condition considering the time of year would like to play this in summer

Testing Greens and challenging fairways make it a good test for any golfer. The course is extremely well maintained and the club house is well appointed.
