What the club says: A friendly and welcoming golf club, originally established over 125 years ago, which offers very great facilities situated in a stunning part of North Dorset. The golf course is 6,248 yards long and is a good test for golfers at all levels.

Challenging Hillside course
Course was dry (nobody's fault!) but there was uneven bounce and some long run on.Considering the recent weather the course was in good condition.

Tough course
Nice welcome into clubhouse, course is set out up lovely and some challenging holes with long second shots in making it hard to play to handicap. The greens were all true and consistent. Would recommend a round hereReviewer Rating

Long Driving Course
Get the driver out on this course.First nine holes are out into the countryside and have fantastic views.
The second nine are up and down and back towards the club house. If the wind gets up on the back nine, be aware it will make these very difficult long holes.
Greens were excellent on the day I played.

Nice Course
Greens were very good today. Fast on some but overall consistent and you could hit into them and the ball held. Fairways very lush but some of the rough needed to be cut lower. Bunkers well maintained.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course
have to hit some blind shots on the front 9 but that makes the course so appealingCourse was in good condition following all the hot weather during the previous week.
Rained on the day we played but didnt spoil the round as short showers and very humid so helped cool you down slightly

Lovely Course
Only ever played this courese previously when the weather had been poor.Playing this time after the nice weather showed the courses beauty, a real nice course with some very good challenging holes.

A little repetitive
After the first few holes the course is generally very down one and then turn round and go back. Greens were in good condition. Some nice views but there are better courses to play locally.
