played 26/10/2012,on a winter deal,round of golf followed by a two course meal,very good value.course was for the time of year was in excellent condition,a few testing greens but on the whole would definately play there again,bar staff and waitresses very polite and helpful, good day had by all

Very Good golf course kept in very good condition. Greens well looked after and wonderful surroundings

Despite the recent very heavy rain the course was in very good condition, played 36 holes and really enjoyed the day. Well worth a visit.

Superb golf club. Very friendly staff. Course was in immaculate condition for the time of year, the greens played fast and true. Great variety of holes, some played from elevated tees with great views across Sheffield. Par 3's are great with clever bunkering. Don't really like courses which finish with a Par 3 but this didn't put me off. Looking at joining a club next year - think this will be the one.

Fantastic golf club. Always very welcoming. Course provides plenty of challenges. Testing mix of holes in super condition especially from March onwards as fairways protected during winter months. Use of the Sheffield natural landscape, hills,elevated tees/greens, trees make for some great views too. Personally like the par 3's on the front 9 and watching any brave enough to take out the dog leg on the first.

Although visited in winter, the course remains in excellent condition, all credit to green keeper and staff. Meals in club house are very good with good choice. Bar prices reasonable. Staff friendly and curteous. The opening hole sets out just how spendid and attractive this course is, but be warned it does play to its par.
