The Trilby Tour is the UK’s premier televised amateur golf tournament, broadcast across the Sky Sports network attracting over two million viewers, and was founded by world-renowned fashion designer and golf enthusiast, William Hunt.

Around 1,000 golfers compete in the Trilby Tour each year, taking part in regional championships across the UK which sees amateurs compete under professional conditions in a ‘winner takes all’-style tournament.

Rockliffe Hall’s golf course is famed for being one of the best in Europe and has been home to the European Tour English Senior Open for the last two years, attracting international names and Ryder Cup stars such as Ian Woosnam, Mark James and Sam Torrance.

Rockliffe Hall’s golf and estate director, Davy Cuthbertson, said: “We’re very much looking forward to welcoming the Trilby team back to Rockliffe Hall as it’s always a lively event. It’s also a great chance for us to showcase our outstanding facilities to a whole new group of golfers from around the country.”
