Callaways Big Bertha Drivers Get Personal

Callaway have announced it is giving all golfers the ability to create truly unique Big Bertha and Big Bertha Alpha Drivers, via its udesign™ online platform which offers the ability to design over 15,000 combinations.

On the Callaway site golfers can create their Big Bertha or Big Bertha Alpha Drivers of choice with 8 options (crown) for the primary colour plus choice of a separate ‘accent’ hue. The head loft, stock or custom shaft and grip can also all be configured seperately, whilst a final option of laser-etching a brief message on the sole, ensures the club is truly personal.

Once personalisation has been completed, the online configurator allows customers to see a multi-dimensional view of the club they have created, to ensure every detail is perfect before they place an order with their local Callaway stockist.

Since the introduction, the Big Bertha Drivers are taking the global Tours by storm having already played their part in wins on The European Tour for Pablo Larrazábal (Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship – Big Bertha Alpha) and on the PGA TOUR for Patrick Reed (WGC-Cadillac Championship and Humana Challenge – Big Bertha Alpha) and Matt Every (Arnold Palmer Invitational – Big Bertha).

The udesign™ by Callaway personalisation and customisation features an additional fee of £60/€70 (or equivalent local currency). Upcharge covers custom head, headcover and grip only. Certain after market shaft and grip choices may entail additional costs.
