Motocaddy launches new push trolley - M1 Lite

By: Golf Shake | Thu 03 Apr 2014

motocaddyMotocaddy has announced that it is launching the a next generation  push trolley in the form of the compact-folding M1 Lite, a model that incorporates a number of innovative features, including some that made the brand famous for its reliable and feature-packed powered trolleys.

The M1 Lite weighs only 6 kg and includes a newly-styled ergonomic handle, developed to make the trolley comfortable to hold and easy to push. It also boasts several handy features, including an integrated Accessory Station – for attaching up to four accessories to the handle – a convenient food and beverage pouch and an easy-to-use, foot-operated parking brake.

The market-leading brand invested more than 18 months of R&D into the M1 Lite, which is based on the twin-tube frame concept of the award-winning M1 PRO electric trolley. It has a similar triple-fold mechanism that allows it to reduce down over 50% smaller than existing Motocaddy push trolleys and fit snugly into even the smallest of car boots.

“Customer feedback indicates that compactness is one of the most important factors for golfers when purchasing manual trolleys, so we’ve tailored our product development accordingly,” said Marketing Manager Oliver Churcher.  “Although we’re seeing a big increase in the number of golfers purchasing electric models, more than 30% of trolley owners still use a manual version, so it’s important we provide push options to suit their needs,” he added.

The M1 Lite joins the super-lightweight S1 Lite push trolley in Motocaddy’s exciting product line-up for 2014.

Available from March in Black or Alpine matt finishes, the Motocaddy M1 Lite has a RRP of £149.99.
