13 year old Emily Price becomes European Champion

The members of Cleobury Mortimer GC are celebrating a victory by junior member Emily Price in the recent US Kids European Championships. 13 year old Emily produced some amazing golf to win the 54 hole event at world renown Gullane Golf Club.
Emily is the current under 18's School Girl County Championand beat a full international field of 20 girls from 12 different countries. Emily scored 71, 70, 74 on the Par 72 course finishing 1 under for the 3 days, which was 6 shots ahead of her next competitor. Emily has been in the top 5 of the International competition for the last 5 years, however, this was her first time as winner. The weather was kind to the players as it was mostly dry, but the usual links course conditions and coastal wind made it a tricky week as normal. Emily has vowd to keep practicing hard to prepare for her next big event the English School Girls in August later this year.
