Design a Pair of Shoes for Gary Boyd

Golfshake and MyJoy’s are offering you the chance to design a pair of golf shoes for professional Gary Boyd.

The winning entry will be worn by Boyd on the first day’s play of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in May.

Not only that, the winning entry will receive a pair of tickets for the European Tour’s flagship event but also get to design your own pair of MyJoy’s for free.

He turned professional in 2007 and after a good few years competing on the Challenge tour he made a successful start to his European Tour season in 2010 by finishing tied for 50th in the Order of Merit with his best finish coming in the Czech Open where he finished runner-up.

Along with Footjoy, Boyd wears IJP clothing which golfing fans will know is owned by Boyd’s best friend Ian Poulter.

He is an avid Manchester United fan and as a help for you designers out there, Boyd told us what he is looking for in the winning design:

“I'm a stylish guy and am always looking for colour in my outfits - if you stick to either the asymmetric or shield tip FJ ICONs you can't go far wrong! My shoe size is a medium UK size 9.”
