Golfshake Updates: Rounds, Groups, Handicap

With the 2024 season imminent we have begun to roll out a series of updates to the Golfshake Score Tracker to help you - Play More and Play Better.

The latest updates focus on the Score Tracker round functionality as well as integration into the Group and Society system and several key updates to the Golfshake Handicap system and Handicap Index we provide free to all golfers.

Handicap Updates

• Handicap report updated for Index tracked handicaps to visually identifying rounds used.
• Updates to provide similar Course HCP stroke calculations based on Golfshake HCP indexing.
• Update to Web Round Set-up to show Golfshake HCP Index and Course HCP Stroke allocation including managed accounts.
• Home page updated to show Handicap data snapshot and recent changes
• Handicap report updated to allow analysis of up to 50 rounds
• Handicap report data updated to highlight rounds used for Golfshake Handicap Index calculations

Member Home Page - Handicap Details

The website will now provide an snapshot and overview of the current Handicap and changes over the last 20 rounds.

Handicap Changes - Past by 50 Rounds

The Handicap Report will now provide full details of handicap changes for up to 50 rounds for members of the Golfshake Premium services.  Golfers with the free standard account will be able to access the last 5 rounds.

General Website Updates

• Home page updated with new data snapshots and handicap benchmark levels
• Improve page updated with enhance handicap benchmark data
• Web site updated to list golfers in firstname lastname order

Home Page Scoring Snapshot

The member home page now shows a quick snapshot from your last 5 rounds, providing insights into you scoring trends.  Further in-depth data and filters on number of rounds and course played is available from the Analyse section.

Home Benchmarks

The member home page also shows scoring benchmark and handicap level for scoring stats.  Further in-depth data and filters on number of rounds and course played is available from the Improve section.

Reporting Updates

• Yearly Report Snapshot updated to include key data (My Game > Analysis > Yearly Reports)
• Yearly Reports - Scoring Analysis - new report provide key round stats for current year and previous 5 years
• Yearly Reports - Stats Analysis - new report providing key stats for current year and previous 2 years

Analyse Dashboard

The Analyse section provide access to the stats dashboard providing an in-depth look at your game including any additional stats tracked.

Trends

Trends provide access to additional insights showing how you perform across a number of data points including how well you start, how you perform over the front and back 9, how well you finish and how you stack depending in par and length of the hole.

Group System Updates

• Group system reporting update with a number of update and tweaks
• Group system report for Eclectic course scoring and Birdie Club challenges
• Group player lists, event management and reporting updates for Course HCP stroke allocations
• Resolved issue in event report for players playing different tees
• Group Scoring updated to allow additional sort option for ordering by Handicap
