Sun Mountain has revealed its new bag range for the 2023 season, featuring attractive designs, including the retro-style MID-STRIPE stand bag that offers premium vinyl material.

The all-encompassing range is made up of more than 30 feature packed golf bags and over 100 distinctive colourway combinations, offering golfers an extensive choice of both cart and carry options across three advanced Sun Mountain ranges. These include the latest MID-STRIPE vinyl bag with matching accessories; H2NO line of fully waterproof bags; plus sustainable ECO-LITE bags that have utilised approximately one million 20-oz recycled plastic water bottles in fabric  production since they were introduced three years ago.

“The stunning MID-STRIPE style is a great addition to the line and epitomises the brand’s vision to offer the best golf bags on the market,” said Nigel Freemantle, Managing Director of Brand Fusion International, distributors of Sun Mountain products across Europe. “With so much choice in terms of colour options and useful design features, we believe our latest  range delivers on every front for golfers seeking the best golf bag for their game,” he added.

Weighing 2.6kg and available in seven colours, the MID-STRIPE stand bag features premium details like an integrated hand-stitched leather lift-assist handle; a roomy four way top with full length dividers to protect and organise clubs; seven spacious with durable zippers; a comfortable dual strap for carrying; plus a chrome plate that can be laser-etched with  initials or a club logo for an added personal touch.

Each bag comes with a complimentary box of 25 matching wooden tees, whilst accessories in the form of a Boston Bag, Players Towel, Alignment Stick Cover and Single Strap can be purchased separately to complete the look. For those golfers looking to turn heads for all the right reasons, the standout colour combinations include the vibrant Frost/Navy/Red option and sophisticated Cabin/Umber/Wheat colourway.

The best-selling H2NO STAFF model spearheads the fully waterproof cart bag options for the forthcoming season thanks to its user-friendly design for use on all carts. It features a cart strap pass through for easy loading without compromising access to the forward-facing pockets that are designed to be easily accessible during play; 14 full-length individual dividers; lightweight nylon fabric with a waterproof treatment on both sides; plus high quality water-resistant zippers and taped seams to ensure belongings remain dry.

It also incorporates a total of nine spacious pockets; a strategically designed locking bottom to ensure it securely fits on most trolleys, plus cart bumpers and reinforced fabric in wear areas to deliver enhanced durability. Standout colourways include the vibrant Blue/Navy/Ocean and Black/Red/Cadet options.

The ultra-lightweight H2NO LITE stand bag weighs just 2.3kg and offers great versatility for use when carrying, as well as on a cart thanks to all six pockets being positioned to face forwards. Other useful features include an easy-to-access hydration sleeve; the E-Z Lite Dual  Strap system making it easier to get on and off; plus a glove holder and towel and accessory loops to the side of the bag. The Bermuda/Navy/White colourway is a bold option, while the Spruce/Navy/Aztec option with a contrasting stand colour delivers a premium striking look.

First introduced in 2020, the pioneering ECO-LITE range of stand and cart bags incorporate Repreve water-resistant fabric crafted from 25-30 20-oz recycled plastic bottles in a bid to reduce harmful waste on the environment. Over the last three years, the brand has pushed the boundaries in sustainable golf bag design, culminating in approximately one million recycled plastic bottles being put to good use in the manufacturing of the bag range’s eco-friendly fabric.

Commenting on the landmark figure, Freemantle said: “Recycling such  a large number of plastic bottles since the introduction of the hugely popular ECO-LITE line is a massive achievement and we are very proud to be playing our part to help the limit environmental damage. The bags offer golfers a super sustainable option without compromising on the top performing and well thought out features expected of a premium Sun Mountain golf bag.”

The popular offering sees the addition of the new Sunday X bag for avid walking golfers. Weighing just 1kg, it features a versatile X-Strap Dual Strap System providing easy on and off access, plus the option to carry on a single shoulder for shorter walks. Thick, high density foam straps are contoured to be wider at the top of the shoulder to deliver enhanced carry comfort, while four pockets ensure a golfer has enough space for belongings.

The ECO-LITE stand bag is available with a 14-way or 4-way top depending on a golfer’s preference and features a new look exterior in four dashing colourways. Offering water resistance, the bag incorporates five pockets including a sizable clothing compartment; multiple accessories pockets; a hydration sleeve; plus a velour lined valuables pocket to keep belongings safe. The strategically designed top-mounted leg mechanism adds stability and lift assist handles provide easy maneuverability. There is also an ECO-LITE cart bag available for those golfers seeking an unrivalled sustainable option for use on trolleys.

The award-winning CLUBGLIDER travel bags feature the exclusive folding-leg mechanism that supports the weight of the bag to deliver exceptional manoeuvrability and eliminate bending and lifting, while the compact KUBE model is a great option if space is limited.
