Tough but good
Bring plenty of balls. When you drive towards the course it looks like a lunar landscape! Whoever did the construction work though deserves the highest praise. If you can find the fairways and greens they are both top quality. The bunkers though are average at best and need more sand. Not a course to walk as some of the tees are a very long way from the preceding greens. In a buggy though Font del Llop is great test.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 10.3)

The only problem with FDL is the unraked bunkers, a problem with most Spanish courses and sorry to say it's the "Locals" who are mainly to blame.

Well presented course, pitch marks not being repaired and bunkers not raked said more about the players and not the club.
Great value for money, and one of the better courses in the region.

Interesting and varied layout. Very testing course but fair. Definitely worth playing and would return.

Very well maintained. Just recovering from hollow tining in advance of Spanish Federation Comp. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Green keepers always aware of you playing a shot and shut down machinery until everybody has moved on. Regular comps for members with very good prizes. Very good mix of nationalities. Only complaint, the bunkers need a bit of TLC.
