My first visit and on driving into the course (beware its not easy to find!) my first impressions were WOW. It looked fantastic. However, the condition of the course and greens (especially on the front nine) was awful. Clearly the investors had in mind creating a residential golf community like the very successful creation at Alenda just 3.5 Kms away, but not a single home has been built. Very sad, and unfortunately this course looks on borrowed time!

Great layout
Interesting holes, varied and undulating, good scenery, tough course and not easy on first visit. Unfortunately bone dry, very brown and very bouncy, poor fairways in general. Very slow play, no marshalling that I could see but then once they have your money they don't care. Friendly pro shop greeting.Reviewer Rating

Interesting and varied layout. Very testing course but fair. Definitely worth playing and would return.

Challenging championship course. Good design. Will play again. Many bunkers & water & greens with numerous breaks - possibly the hardest ive ever played.

Prices at FDL are increasing. Even members have to pay a 2? green fee. on top of their membership.

Great course layout
Font Del Loppe is a must visit if you are near Alicante. A beautiful layout to a sweeping golf course. A few tough up hill holes, but, all in all, a fair but challenging course. 5 very different par 3s make it extremely interesting.Some tight driving holes, bring your A game off the tees.

A very demanding course with greens resembling a "Roller Coaster" and fairways with slopes which can ruin a good shot by diverting your ball into water or sand.

Very popular with all Nationalities
Font Del Llop has benefited by a new extension to the bar, dining areaT the raised terrace, overlooking the 18th and a lot of the other holes, has been renovated and upgraded.The downside is that the catering has been franchised out and the prices have rocketed.
