Excellent country course in very good nick
Played in Oct. Greens quite quick and in excellent condition. Fairways and Bunkers also in very good condition. Only one winter green and that was as good as the normal greens. Most tees played as normal but two or three mats in use. Excellent sausage sandwich in the club house served by friendly staff. Only 12.50 for visitors. Excellent value.

I was a member here in the late 90s until I gave up golf and went to Uni. Got the clubs out again this year, got up to speed and went for a round back at the natural home at the start of November. Greens like carpets, course in mint nick, quiet on a week day as well. Everything has matured in the last 20 years and it’s tight off the tee, and all the better for it. Class.

The best in Shropshire.
An amazing course, I love and play in Dubai so luckily play on hanpionship courses weekly however this gem of a course makes you think and the groundsmen have done an amazing job of the greens. Very enjoyable after playing eight courses in the area I've come back to this one time and time again whilst in holiday break in the UK. Also for under 15 quid it's an amazing price.

A beautiful course. We have stayed in the bungalow on the course three times now and think it's fantastic value. Very friendly club who make you feel very welcome and can't do enough for you.

I plyed Market Drayton yesterday as part of a golf society. We were made very welcome at the club which was bedecked in Europe and USA flags for the upcoming Ryder Cup.\\The course has a lot of variety and was in excellent condition, the fairways were well defined and had good run. The rough was fine and not too penal, the only hazards were the bunkers (and there are quite a few of them) and they were all in good condition and very consistent around the course. Lots of trees around the course but the ground between them was cut short and finding balls was easy. The greens were very true, possibly slower than I expected, but there had been a lot of rain overnight.\\The course has quite a few sidehill lies and there are some slopes but walking 27 holes wasn\'t difficult. The course was very fair, though it was by no means easy.\\The members we met were all very friendly, always a slight concern when visiting a club of this nature. The food was excellent and like the drinks very well priced.\\An excellent day (27 holes, bacon bap before, and sandwiches and chips before the afternoon 18 holes) made this a very enjoyable day.
