Relaxing and tranquil
Smart, modern clubhouse, with a bit of what looks like TLC work underway. Nice welcome, but almost felt like the staff were trying too hard. Excellent putting and chipping greens with bunkers. Looks as if the course is almost squashed on a small plot of land, but there’s a lovely little extra section for holes 12-16 on the other side of a small track. Lovely water features to make for some challenging holes, even more so on what was a very windy day. Virtually had the place to myself, and with beautiful scenery, multicoloured fields and a hole running alongside the Thames, this made for a nice round and a lovely walk. Undecided however on whether I would return, but great value for money.Reviewer Rating

Cracking Course
Really enjoyed my first visit to The SpringsNot the longest but well place water features and hazard make for a fun and challenging test.
Longer hitter could score pretty well here but shorter players and those with a higher handicap will still find this super enjoyable.
The green were top notch given the rain that has been dumped on the course lately.
The improvements to both the course and the clubhouse will make this one of the top venues in the area once complete.

A much improved course
Fabulous course. Last played it 6 years ago and dont remember much about it apart from the beautiful club house (very Tudor like and the great food) - but that is winter golf for you. Played today in glorious sunshine and probably the nicest game of golf I have played in England this year. The work the club has done to the bunkers and adding the fescue grass to the bunker lips makes it look really dramatic.Im about to write a longer feature review on the entire course so watch out for that.
But for £35 this is a gem!
Practice facilities are amazing the short game area I have never seen better. The best bunkers and chipping area and the green is just immaculate (like on the course)
The head golf pro (Paul) is a true Gent!
Go play you won't be disappointed.

Well looked after!
This developing course is full of surprises with lakes, some interesting grass and circling kites overhead. This course is not long but challenging with very good greens. The staff are constantly trying to improve the experience and I would highly recommend the course.
