What the club says: Officially designated an area of outstanding natural beauty in 133 acres of parkland and bordered by the river Thames, it makes an exquisite and tranquil setting for the course. Within it lies 3 lakes and challenging wetland areas to add to the attractions of the par 72 course.
Designed by former Ryder Cup Captain Brian Huggett MBE, it features a double green, sleepered bunker and sleepered lake edges of a typical American design.

Cracking Course
Really enjoyed my first visit to The SpringsNot the longest but well place water features and hazard make for a fun and challenging test.
Longer hitter could score pretty well here but shorter players and those with a higher handicap will still find this super enjoyable.
The green were top notch given the rain that has been dumped on the course lately.
The improvements to both the course and the clubhouse will make this one of the top venues in the area once complete.

A much improved course
Fabulous course. Last played it 6 years ago and dont remember much about it apart from the beautiful club house (very Tudor like and the great food) - but that is winter golf for you. Played today in glorious sunshine and probably the nicest game of golf I have played in England this year. The work the club has done to the bunkers and adding the fescue grass to the bunker lips makes it look really dramatic.Im about to write a longer feature review on the entire course so watch out for that.
But for £35 this is a gem!
Practice facilities are amazing the short game area I have never seen better. The best bunkers and chipping area and the green is just immaculate (like on the course)
The head golf pro (Paul) is a true Gent!
Go play you won't be disappointed.

Great course
Friendly staff and great course, good variety , some long ,some short and challenging fairways, enjoyable water hazards and a view of the Thames boats, greens great condition, miss the bacon sandwiches so will return to play again.

Well looked after!
This developing course is full of surprises with lakes, some interesting grass and circling kites overhead. This course is not long but challenging with very good greens. The staff are constantly trying to improve the experience and I would highly recommend the course.

JH
Such a friendly club.Great for beginners as pros willing to “go the extra mile” to inspire and encourage.Beautiful course.Lots of exciting plans afoot to develop the club further .

Great winter course
They have invested here! They take out 2 par five?s that get flooded & shorten the course when wet.
This is a great idea without & course is as good as any locally with greens very good roll.
Winter warmer deal on bacon roll coffee & 18 holes for ?20.

Great course

Pre Trilby
Lovely course, very friendly team, greens were lovely and smooth. A good challenge, especially with a bit of wind but look forward to playing it again.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 16.4)

New Look to be viewed
Played Springs last week, pleasantly surprised & a very good deal over Winter. That good going back Friday as 2 x 3 balls.

Good but not great
Lovely setting and nice clubhouse. Lots of work on bunkers that are all out of play, no course planners. Greens are good and true. Some good holes and all par 3 are a challenge. The 18th is totally mickey mouse though and spoils your day, a copse of trees smack bang in the middle of the fairway woth no bail out areas either side, nonsensical and ruins and otherwise pleasant golf course. Food in the bar is good, recommend the springs burger.

Lots of work going on
Great course in a lovely location. Lots of work going on and so much GUR so it wasn't a good time to visit. They are putting a lot into the club so will be great in the future.Would recommend and play again, but not for a while.
