Superb
A superb course nestled in the lowlands of Scotland. It's a proper heathland course, with plenty of up's & down's & some absolutely stunning views.The course is in great condition & played lovely.
Some may not like the blind shots into the greens of some holes, but I thought it added to the fun of it.
Look out for the par 3 9th. 120 yards & about 30 feet of climb, take at least two extra clubs.
Add to this the superb welcome in the nice clubhouse, which will be even better after it's refurbished.
Not the longest course, but one that is a pure pleasure to play on, if just for those superb views.

Great course, definitely need to play it twice for recognition purposes. Scenic, great greens (tho difficult). Great VFM......free as I won a competition..!!!!! Friendly people, good bar snacks

Played Moffat in May 2013 and although the course was not at it's best due to the long winter and poor weather we still had an enjoyable day. We play Moffat at least once a year and always enjoy it. The scenery and views are a pleasure and the course is full of wildlife. Don't think we have played there without seeing a deer on the course.
The course is fairly short but still really enjoyable. The greens were not good but will be in another month. Great day overall. Thanks.

Really great location, fantastic fairways and greens.Tee boxes were also very good. A really fun course, heath cross links style. A buggy was a must for me but I am a 76 yo sassenach. Locals were walking with trolleys. Would definitely play again if I ever got the chance. Didn't see the inside of the clubhouse personally but loved every minute of my time there.

Stopped off to play on the way up to watch the Open at Troon, it didn't disappoint! The staff were extremely welcoming & the clubhouse has some very nice touches. The course itself is excellently laid out and offers some truly stunning views of the local area. In my opinion this is a must play and is a real test for accuracy off the tee and also has a few surprises in store!

Fantastic course
It took me over 20 years of playing golf to find this course, don't make the same mistake, this is a must play course. Not overly long, but beautifully laid out and views over the surrounding hills. The staff and members are fantastic, the course is great fun, and after you've survived the 9th you can play anything! I really can't stress enough how much I enjoyed my round here, and I will come back to play the course again. If you're in the area you have got to play here.Reviewer Rating

Steep!
Enjoyable moorland course with a variety of holes. Blind holes a bit unsettling but some good holes that require accuracy as a priority rather than length. Steepest par 3 you’ll ever come across!Reviewer Rating

The course was in very good condition considering all the recent rain.
