What the club says: Lockerbie Golf Club was founded in 1890 and sits overlooking the picturesque borders town of Lockerbie. The many vantage points on the course offer spectacular views over the neighbouring areas of the lake district. The course will challenge golfers of all playing standards, with the tough water hazards that come into play on a few holes.

The course itself was fantastic. We unfortunately played it in the middle of monsoon season which made it slightly uncomfortable. I would love to go back as it really is a gem of a course and at a bargain price. The staff were fantastic and gave us a warm welcome.

Lockerbie is a tree lined course so you have to play very carefully. Good course to play, lovely views to be seen over Lockerbie Town.

Course was in good condition for the time of year. Most fairways were tree lined which meant effective course management was a must.
