i really enjoy playing here,was very wet with all the rain we have had but greens were good as always

Decent enough course, very flat as you'd expect for Lincolnshire and remains reasonably dry in winter conditions. I would play again but wouldn't recommend making a special journey to play

Hidden Gem
Took my society to the Lincolnshire today and the course was in excellent condition and very well manicured.The course itself if flat and not too long but it is tight in a lot of places making it a good test of golf .Reviewer Rating

Love this course. The card looks as though its one of the easier courses but a good test. Greens could do with water, they are pretty hard so a struggle to keep approach shots on them

Course generally in good condition,pity no discounts given for larger parties.Bar not always open after afternoon rounds.Reception staff friendly and helpful.

The course is challenging and interesting course but not overly difficult: ideal for a society day. You will face a wide range of shots; fairly frequent 3 wood/hybrids off the tee followed by long/medium irons rather than repetitive drives and short irons. The greens and fairways were excellent. The greens are well sculpted giving you a variety of chip and pitch shots if (when!) you miss them. The only gripe was that the bar was shut although I understand it will stay open if there are enough players there.

Very wet so not at best but greens really good
Few areas needed attention,so only a good rating
Had package which to be fair was
Bacon roll -good
Course - good
Meal after - v poor - service ok - quality for estimated ?7 shocking
Overall worth a visit but food after spoilt a good day

Played twice in a week - held up first time by an army of seniors who by all accounts keep the course viable.
Pleasant, well-maintained parkland course which has some interesting features on very flat terrain. No shoe or trolley cleaning facilities, which would be handy at this time of year.
Course staff were friendly and helpful, but there seems to be a pretty short window in which to get a drink or food; I gather the bar is franchised out, apparently to people who don't show a lot of effort or initiative.
I'll certainly keep coming here from time to time, but maybe pack a picnic if playing outside noon to 4pm...
