The course is very flat and the fairways are generally straight. The greens are probably about the best part of the course and are well kept. On a good point the course is open during the winter months when other courses are on winter greens. However the tees are a bit scruffy and the bunkers are atrocious. The sand is rock hard and a complete waste of time. I don't think the owner spends any money on the course whatsoever. There is no proper pro shop, just an office to take your money. There is a bar but seems to close as soon as there are only a few people left on the course. Its generally play and go home except when there is a society playing. There is fantastic senior section who play there three or four times a week. I think the green fees are okay but the five and seven days membership is expensive for what you get. Don't be too put off about my comments as these are only my views and there are some nice parts along the course.

Really starting to like this course, very well kept course, greens are the best I have played on this year. Make sure you have everything you need with you not much choice in the shop snacks drinks etc.

The greens were in good condition and so we're fairways, bunkers were a bit stodgy. Weather was nice which helped

Wet conditions, but greens in reasonable condition, but terrain fairways had been cut when wet leaving clods of grass around.
However good value for money and an enjoyable round.

Really nice course and friendly staff and members. Fairways are very good and the greens are very fast and the ball runs true on them (the only issue I had was that the greens spiked up very easily due to being soft)

This is a lovely parkland course with mature trees on every hole. Some may find it boring as there are not many features other than the many shades of green in the trees. Greens a little slow but true. Long grass under trees is a little unfair as the trees are a penalty in themselves. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. A few more fairway bunkers would prove more of a challenge. Green fee a little expensive for twilight.
