Greens dead
Greens haven't been hollowtined in around 6 or 7 years and as a result the greens are baked and dead. They need seeing to or this once great course will be in a state of disrepair. All the turf on the fringe is cracking and raised up. It's desperate for water. And care.Reviewer Rating

Needs Tlc
Played with our society and I must sat the course just needs a bit of tlc,The fairways hadn't been cut and there was no definition between fairways and rough,The greens Neded attention aswell they are bobsleigh very small patches but if you pay £20 you don't expect the belfry. This course could be exceptional with the good layoutReviewer Rating

Once upon a time the owner cared
Greens in a state, cracking and grass dying. There is a sprinkler system but it's not used. The greens haven't been hollow times in 18 month. Used to be done twice a year without fail. When you consider they pride them selves on all year round play the course will suffer and be unplayable come springtime next year.. if I was one of the members paying ?700 a year I'd be fuming. So much potential being wastedReviewer Rating

great value for money
Whilst we expected something basic, the facilities are limited but the course, especially the greens, were well kept. Good test of skills and easy walking(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 97 Handicap: 21.5)

Great service, decent course
The catering staff here were really pleasant and attentive when we visited recently with 11 members of our society. We had bacon sandwiches and drinks before a round and everyone commented on how nice they were. The course itself is a nice layout with one or two top and the rest absolutely fine and playable. This course is a quiet course and never too busy to enjoy a round, we have played it regularly over the last few weeks. It's not a top 100 course, but it's perfectly acceptable for a very nice enjoyable round and it does test the best of players. If you live in the area definitely go and try it as for ?16 mid week and ?20 at weekends you'll find it hard to beat.Reviewer Rating

Money money money!!!
So disappointed! Booked a tee for Tuesday 29th Dec. After bad weather overnight rang up to check everything was still OK. Got a reply yep all open with a couple of greens slushy. What an absolute disgrace the course was. At least 7 of the greens (only played to 13th) were still iced over and others where wet through and soggy. The course was like a cow field, had all on finding a dry piece of grass to place the ball. How could you keep the course open on a day like that??? Charged £20 for it as well!!Reviewer Rating
