What the club says: Nestled in the Lincolnshire countryside, the Golf Club boasts a beautiful setting for a round of golf. Water comes into play on several holes with plenty of lakes dotted around the course. Perhaps, though, the signature hole of the course would have to be the twelfth, which has an island green that you'll need to judge just right or you could find your ball landing in a watery grave and in turn ruining your scorecard.

Most Helpful Review
The course is very flat and the fairways are generally straight. The greens are probably about the best part of the course and are well kept. On a good point the course is open during the winter months when other courses are on winter greens. However the tees are a bit scruffy and the bunkers are atrocious. The sand is rock hard and a complete waste of time. I don't think the owner spends any money on the course whatsoever. There is no proper pro shop, just an office to take your money. There is a bar but seems to close as soon as there are only a few people left on the course. Its generally play and go home except when there is a society playing. There is fantastic senior section who play there three or four times a week. I think the green fees are okay but the five and seven days membership is expensive for what you get. Don't be too put off about my comments as these are only my views and there are some nice parts along the course. - Jul 13 2016

Golf Course Reviews for The Lincolnshire Golf Course
Course still a bit to go after dry weather. Fairways getting greener. Greens excellent and holding with good shots in. Will go back.
(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 17.3)
Good course with excellent senior section which plays competitions on Monday away day through the summer months always open to new members

(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 85 Handicap: 13.1)
Took my society to the Lincolnshire today and the course was in excellent condition and very well manicured. The course itself if flat and not too long but it is tight in a lot of places making it a good test of golf .
(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 81 Handicap: 8.8)
Few areas needed attention,so only a good rating
Had package which to be fair was
Bacon roll -good
Course - good
Meal after - v poor - service ok - quality for estimated ?7 shocking
Overall worth a visit but food after spoilt a good day
Pleasant, well-maintained parkland course which has some interesting features on very flat terrain. No shoe or trolley cleaning facilities, which would be handy at this time of year.
Course staff were friendly and helpful, but there seems to be a pretty short window in which to get a drink or food; I gather the bar is franchised out, apparently to people who don't show a lot of effort or initiative.
I'll certainly keep coming here from time to time, but maybe pack a picnic if playing outside noon to 4pm...
