Windy conditions today but played a good round. Slow play in front, distracted my game somewhat but overall was mildly pleased with my round

Overall Aylesbury Park isn't too bad a golf course.
Some tough holes and some quite easy. hardly any bunkers, some water hazards and ditches.
Greens weren't great, lots of disease and burnt off edges from the recent hot weather. putted ok on them though and you could hold your approach shots.
Tees were a bit shabby.
Good food and beer, friendly members.
Will play again just wish it was in better condition.

Course really suffered in dry weather - especially the edges of the greens. Also tee boxes looking very tired/scruffy

Paid just £10 twilight rate. Fantastic value. Flat but interesting.

Has very few bunkers and is quite open - very few hazards. Suits high handicappers, but has few challenges for better golfers. Greens currently being worked on but reasonably true. Reasonably priced, especially week days.

Twilight at this course always a bargain. Time it right and you can have a very clear round during the week. Fairways and greens in pretty good nick consideration time of year and weather

A good course for high handicappers with few water hazards or bunkers.

Course is wide and forgiving, which is excellent for a novice like myself.
Greens appear to have issues with a fungus, causing unsightly brown patches on virtually every hole.
Staff aren't exaclty friendly and welcoming. But then they are all kids.

A big wide-open American style course with wide fairways and protected greens, not a big challenge but it is good fun. If you hit a wayward shot there's a very good chance that you can still recover in Par.
A nice course to work on your game - particulalry the long shots.

Great value for money especially if you go for the twighlight which starts earlier than most places. If your a decent player and are having a good day you will rip this course up as it's fairways are wide. Took a society here and it was very popular especially with the poorer players as it is forgiving. That doesn't detract from it being a well kept course which we will return to.

My home course, very friendly, rounds can be very slow at times though. Fairly open apart from a couple of holes.

A nice course that lets you open your shoulders and give the ball a whack!! It's a wide open course, but drift off the fairways, you'll find your ball in the long rough and you'll pay a price for being wayward!
This grassland course is well maintained and challenging enough for most golfers - it tempts you hit big, if you hit straight you'll be fine but if not you'll drop shots. The fairways are long and quite wide, the greens are a little bumpy but generally OK, they are protected by a myriad of bunkers. There is little/no water on the course.
Built over a couple of gently undulating hills it's easy to underestimate distances - it's a long slog up some of the fairways and if the wind is in your face it's gonna be a long day.
Aylesbury Park is a fun course to play - a nice challenge well worth taking.
