the course is coming along nicely now. the bunkers have been filled with sand for the first time in god knows how many years and with bit of hard work the greens will soon be up to scratch. well done tamworth council. will be looking to join if carries on in this manner

hopefully now that the council have taken back over the running of this course it will get back to the fantastic course it once was. condition is not great at moment but with work being put in should soon be up to scratch.

Not a bad course and reasonable price. Some greens not the best and some of the tipping and landfilling detracts from what is generally pleasant surroundings

It a fair test of golf with some challenging par 4's and the long par 3 on back 9 golf course could do with a little more general maintanence but on the hole a nice course variety of holes which would challennge most golfers

course greens need cutting and back nine has bricks in fescue front nine is good

Not a bad round in terms of value for money,only really bad hole is the 15th,which is a bit like a building site and as others have mentioned etiquette could be improved,a group of 3 extremely slow and short hitting players(which by the 13th as 2 players gave up ,became a single ball who played even slower!) held up our 2 ball all the way round the course,not once offering to let us play through despite several hints being dropped.Some nice holes for a municipal though and despite the etiquette would return for a second round

good course would like to play in summer as playing off some winter tee's and lots of leafy fairways but excellent value for money.

greens were very inconsistent ie very slow bunkers need sand urgently also groups very slow play almost five hours to get round apart from that the course is comming along slowly good idea to have food on the go at the booking office and fair value for money

Greens were a little inconsisitent,although mostly well maintained. No sand in any of the bunkers which is a shame. Just needs a bit of attention to detail in all areas and would be fantastic. Still good value though.
