Excellent Course
Course in excellent condition.Very challenging and will be returning soon.
Pity the bar and clubhouse were closed when we finished (18.00).

Hidden gem.
Course in great condition, if you have any flaws in your game, this course will find you out, as I found. First time at this course but not my last, to be continued....(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 96 Handicap: 13.9)

Was not a very good experience, course very very wet, should have been closed the day we played it, asked for a refund, but no joy there, golf ball was covered in mud & plugging in fairways, greens not very good design as upturned saucers, was offered had price membership & I can see why now- desparate.

Great course reasonably priced
Course in great condition. Back nine very different to the front nine, as much hillier. Although not the longest course, the holes will test your ability to find the fairway, with some blind dog legs. Only used the driver for two tee shots & on some holes a mid - long iron will suffice. We play this course every year as a society and it is always well set up. On this particular day, there was an open event & the flag placings meant most putts needed to be well read to get close to the pin, with some severe slopes.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 88 Handicap: 15.1)

Went out behind a group of around 40 lads who had more interest in getting drunk than playing golf. Phoned the clubhouse from the fifth tee as it had taken nearly 2 hours to play four holes. The reply was he would have a word. At the 10th tee we went in to speak to the manager and his reply was that they had paid over ?1000 so what could he do. No apology at all to us and he even charged one of our lads for a buggy for nine holes as we were out so long his bad knees flared up which under normal times he can walk 18 holes.

A pleasant parkland course. Plenty to think about with trees and ponds to miss. Greens a little worn but then winter is approaching. Overall I enjoyed the day.
