played today and found the course to be in great condition for november greens fast and true, fairways a bit heavy but ok and all bunkers had been racked, winter deal £20 with food, anyone in the area should try it

Played 10/09/2014 course in excellent condition great greens superb views on holes 12/13. Made very welcome by staff. Would definitely play again happy days. Neil handicap 15

Tucked away in N.Wales facing the Wirral, Pennant Park could be a hidden gem ? Front 9 is flat-ish and easy walking with lush fairways and a par 3 over a pond. The back 9 is more hilly, culminating at its summit with breath taking views over the Dee estuary towards the Wirral. Watch for the tight dogleg 11th up hill ? (Iron off the tee!) The 16th is a killer long hole with a constant climb to the green that tests the legs! The 18th nestles next to the raised clubhouse, which is excellent. Very friendly club, and it has a small driving range/practice area to warm up on. Has chalets on site also if you fancy a stay ? Recommended.

saturday 23rd july 2010 golf society day with 18 lads had 9 holes bacon barms , 18 holes 2 course meal excellent service the course is one of the best i have played and very friendly staff make you feel welcome

It has to be said that by coincidence, since the pro has left the club, the condition of the course has deteriorated, the tees and greeens are in the worst condition I have seen since we started playing this course over 12 years ago
