The hire of clubs was expensive at €33 for cobras. And the golf was also expensive at €150 for two with buggie and lunch. We were 1st game out at 7.40 and we were back in the club house by 10.45!
The only down side on that was the price includes lunch but the kitchen did not open until noon. Would play here again no probs.

A Must-Play Gem
The staff were warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze and setting the tone for a fantastic day ahead. The clubhouse is modern and well-equipped, with a great pro shop – which came in handy when one of our group had to buy a collared shirt after forgetting the dress code (definitely worth noting: collared shirts are a must!).The course itself is absolutely immaculate. Every fairway, tee box, and green was in pristine condition, a real credit to the ground staff. The greens in particular were lightning-fast and true. The layout is a great mix – some beautifully tree-lined holes provide a classic feel, while others feature well-placed water hazards that add both beauty and strategy. The mountain views throughout the course are simply stunning and provide a breathtaking backdrop.
I would recommend paying a little extra for the TaylorMade rental clubs and hiring a buggy, not just for comfort but to fully enjoy the relaxed pace and scenery.
After the round, we enjoyed a cold drink on the clubhouse terrace, which overlooks the course and offers yet more spectacular views of the local wildlife.
It’s not cheap, but Golf Las Américas delivers a first-class golfing experience from start to finish.

Expensive but a really nice course
Everything is well done about the course and the services, but you do pay for it.Also, unless you are a 4 ball then you'll be paying your round with others. When having a coffee on the verandah before my round every single tee time had 4 people on it, most made up of people that didn't know each other. Not a problem as long as you're social, but shows how popular the course is.
Oh, if you like a beer during your round be sure to take some along as it didn't seem possible (bar staff said to get it from the caddie master, caddie master said to get it from the pro shop and pro shop said they didn't sell beer).

Lovely course
Fantastic course worth visiting but very expensive with buggies and club hire. 490 Euros for 3 persons. The course was in exceptional condition and play was reasonably fast enough.Reviewer Rating

Slow, slow
Course suffers from maximising revenue with no control over who allow on course or pace of play. Will fill every gap in tee times to make up 4 balls with no match of abilities. Handicap limit of 28 not enforced(played with guy off 40 who was nearer 70 handicap) and in 2nd round group in front lost 2 holes with no Marshall in sight. Both rounds took over 5 hours. Course itself very average with several par 4s being no more than drive and a lob wedge.Reviewer Rating

Good condition, short course.
Good condition, fairly short course. Clubhouse and pro shop don't open until 9am which is a little strange when tee times start at 7:30am.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 79 Handicap: 5.5)

Nice course
Played Las Americas for first time, overall quite impressed. A bit pricey but played in peak season. Facilities very good, nice clubhouse, pro shop, good practice area, driving range. Course in good condition, proper sand in bunkers (not volcanic). Green very quick and true. Good variety of holes, nice finishing par 5 in front of clubhouse. Quite an easy walk around but be prepared for 4.5 hour round as can bit quite slow especially in peak season.Reviewer Rating
