Played El Chaparral on Nov 12th 2012. The weather had been very wet so the course fairways were not their usual very good standard but they were better than the other courses we played . The greens were still good and as usual the course offered it's unique challenge with 6 x par 3s,4s and5s.
Anyone looking to play a golf course in the area should put El Chaparral very high up their list and the club house is lovely with the best fry up out of all the courses for breakfast.

Played El Chap for the first time July 2012 and absolutely loved it. The main plus point is it's originality, too many of the Costa clubs are the same. This winds it way through mature pine forests, and not the usual scrub of other courses. Greens were excellent, tees/fairways were good. Views stunning, mountains one side and the Med the other. It is tough, but I am an average 8 handicap and shot 82 so not over the top by any means. All staff very friendly and professional.

Great challenge
classic parkland course.risk and reward excellently set up.
first-class welcome in Pro Shop, warm and friendly int he batlr.
bargain value & filing food.
considering hiw wet February was- greens were immaculate.
cannot waut to return here.

Everything about this gem of a course is worth visiting. It never gives in and will hide your ball if you blink. One of the best I’ve played returning year after year.

Stunning, stunning course
What a course. Wet at the start of the day (like all Spanish courses) but so many holes where you stand on the teen at think "wow". You need a buggy.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 16.1)
