Course was in good condition, but first tee off time was 08.. but the course allowed 3 groups to tee off before that delaying our start from 08.08 by 15 mins.

3 9s great range of challenges

As there are 3 9 hole courses here you get an opportunity to play a whole range of challenges. Llebeig that was our 1st 9 is a challenge as the fairways are quite narrow so driving accuracy is key. A little bit of water comes into play which also means on the par 5s your second shot has to be accurate. Gregal was our second 9 which is longer, fairways are a bit wider however water and ditches with water across the fairways come into play. So second shots and deciding whether to lay up or go for it become important. Mestral the 3rd 9 is typical of UK Parkland course, wide fairways, the first hole is a par 3 so if you start there it's an interesting start. The par 3 6th is great for nearest the pin with the par 5 5th being great for longest drive. Beware the ditch on your second shot on the 5th. Overall 3 very different 9 holes which makes it great for a weekend stay and playing the different courses. The second morning we were there it rained quite heavily early on, some of the green had little grass on so the "muddy" areas could hinder your putts.

Need a buggy to get around just for the shade. Lovely course, very forgiving on wayward shots.

Golfshake Team ReviewReally nice course. played October 2nd 2015. Some tight treelined tees. some lovely views on the Montgo (?) mountains especially on the 9th tee. just stunning. we played the yellow and red as i was put off by the other Golfshake reviews of the new green course. I would recommend if you want a nice course close to Denia. The facilities were top notch. amazing terrace bar bathed in the sunshine for post match beers, and showers & towels welcome especially as our electrics and water were out of order in our villa that day LOL. favorite hole was the 18th which has such a tight turn on the dogleg left. €75 green fees are bit much when you consider same price for la Galiana which is just mindblowing but another hour north of here.

Golfshake Team ReviewA really nice course. some of the holes have wonderful views of the (Monga?) mountains - personal favorite was the tee shot on the par 5 9th. Some really good, tight treelined holes making tee shots quite intimidating on 2, 4, 6, 9. The 18th is a great hole...... never seen such a severe angle on a dog leg left. a nice way to finish. definitely playing again. (we played the yellow and red as the golfshake reviews put me off the newer green course even though the reviews were quite old). Staff were really nice. Great terrace for a beer afterwards in the blazing sunshine. Grateful for really nice showers there as we temporarily lost electrics and water in our villa! :-)
Great golf equipment hire (€30) - they gave me the same TaylorMade Speedbaldes I have at home....... what a result

On this occasion our round was VERY slow ( 5 1/4 hours ???? !!! Due to many oap's and high handicappers on the course , along with being extremely busy
But for the money we paid ££££ a bit more control of the tee times would be required
Course was good , but the long waits on the tees ruined it for us

Th club is in Denia, Alicante. The greens are still poorly maintained and full of pitch marks. At Euro 75 for a round it is not good value. The staff were however friendly and courteous.

Overated

We played the red and green courses The design on the red was strange in places. The green course was no better than a municipal and very poor fairways and tee directions, cost €60 to play both nines which was ludicrous and totally not worth it. I shall not be going back, better courses everywhere in the area. One to avoid.

The main course is nicely maintained with a good interesting layout. Excellent greens and you need to plan out how to play each hole. The new nine hole course they've tacked onto the development is pretty awful. The fairways/greens are in good condition but generally its very boring, straight up and down, no rough, no trees, no character and basically a total joke that they charge 75 Euros for a round that includes these holes. I only played them because the other 9 on the main facility is closed. I've played better public parks courses in the UK for £15 let alone the price these people are charging. So many better courses in the area - you can play a full 18 at La Galiana for the price these people want for nine holes. Avoid it.
